Nadira Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Nadira app (referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by De Appmakers BV (referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

WHAT DATA WE STORE AND WHERE
All personal data you enter is stored exclusively on your device:
- Your name, birth date, birth time, and birth place
- Journal entries and mood logs
- Partner data entered for compatibility readings
This data is never transmitted to Service Provider servers and never shared with third parties in identifiable form.
ANALYTICS (OPT-IN ONLY)
During onboarding you are asked whether you consent to anonymous usage analytics. If you agree, the Application uses Firebase Analytics (Google LLC, USA) to collect:
- Anonymous usage events (e.g. screen views, feature usage)
- Device type and operating system version
- App version and language setting
No personal data (name, birth data, journal content) is ever included in analytics events. If you decline, no analytics data is collected. You can change your preference at any time in Profile & Settings > Privacy.
AI FEATURES
When you use AI-powered features (horoscopes, transit interpretations, forecasts), only anonymized astrological data is transmitted — specifically the positions of celestial bodies derived from your birth data. Your name, exact birth date, birth location, or any other identifying information is never sent to AI providers.
A randomly generated anonymous device identifier is used solely for rate limiting. It contains no personal information and cannot be linked back to you.
SUBSCRIPTION VERIFICATION
If you purchase a premium subscription, your Google Play purchase token is sent to the Service Provider's backend (hosted on Microsoft Azure, EU) solely to verify the purchase with Google. This token does not contain personal data and is not stored beyond the verification request.
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
The Application may request permission to send push notifications (e.g. daily horoscope reminders). Notifications are generated locally on your device. No personal data is transmitted for this purpose. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Service Provider does not sell personally identifiable information. The following third parties are involved in operating the Application:

Claude AI — Anthropic PBC — AI-generated horoscopes & interpretations — Anonymized astrological positions — USA
Azure Functions — Microsoft — Backend hosting, rate limiting, purchase verification — Anonymous device ID, purchase tokens — EU
Upstash — Upstash Inc. — Temporary anonymous rate limit counters — Anonymous device ID — EU
Power Automate — Microsoft — Processing in-app feedback submissions — Feedback text you submit — EU
Each provider operates under their own privacy policy. The Service Provider maintains Data Processing Agreements with EU-based processors as required by GDPR.
The Service Provider may disclose information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, or when necessary to protect rights and safety.
YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR / AVG)
As a user in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of data held about you
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
- Erasure: Delete all your data (available directly in-app: Profile & Settings > Delete all data)
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting your use of the Application

DATA RETENTION
Personal profile data — Your device only — Until you delete it
Anonymous rate limit counters — Upstash (EU) — 24 hours, then auto-deleted
Feedback submissions — Microsoft Power Automate — Until deletion requested
Purchase verification tokens — Azure (EU) — Not stored beyond verification
Analytics events (if opted in) — Firebase (USA) — Per Google's retention settings (default 14 months)
CHILDREN
The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support@deappmakers.nl and it will be deleted promptly.
SECURITY
Personal data remains on your device and is never transmitted to Service Provider servers. Data transmitted to AI services is anonymized before transmission. The Application uses certificate pinning and encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all network communication.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the Application.
